Well, if you’re reading this it means I was able to use Marsedit to post on this, my new WordPress.com blog.
So far I really dig Marsedit. It does everything I need it to do as far ass blogging goes. The only grip I have about it, is that when you’ve got a draft post on the blog (I mean one that has been saved as a draft in WordPress), if you edit that draft and “Send to Weblog” from within Marsedit, the post will not get a post slug. This means all links to the post will be broken. I also noticed that after doing three succh posts, my feed catcher saw all three posts as a single post that had had some heavy editing. Now I realize this may really be a problem with WordPress. But, I’m sure there’s a good reason for WordPress not to assign the post slug until after a post is published. I just can;t think of why.
